Nick Weston's father committed suicide when Nick was a child. In a box in his office Nick keeps the note his father left, and the gun he used to shoot himself. Driven by a desire to achieve the kind of financial security his father never could Nick is determined to realise his ambitions. The trouble is he is at risk of destroying his relationships with the most important people in his life; his wife, Sally and his best friend, Marcus.

Set in San Francisco this drama/thriller examines how a deeply held insecurity blinds Nick to his increasingly corrupt morality and eventually drives events to the point where they spin wildly out of his control.
